Armenian Deputy PM, Syunik Governor and several ambassadors to Armenia announce the launch of a new program in Syunik

Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Armenia Patrik Svensson, Ambassador of France to Armenia Anne Louyot, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Viktor Richter, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Armenia Paweł Cieplak, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Armenia Lukas Rosenkranz, Head of the Austrian Development Coordination Office in Yerevan Klaus Kapper, Head of the Regional Representation of the European Investment Bank in the South Caucasus Maciej Czura, Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan, Head of the Unit for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Eastern Partnership of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission David Cullen announced on January 18 the official launch of the "Resilient Syunik: Team Europe Initiative", ARMENPRESS wa sinfomred from the Office of the EU Delegation to Armenia.

"The Resilient Syunik: Team Europe initiative" is a joint initiative of the European Union, the European Investment Bank, EU member states Austria, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, as well as partner Switzerland.

"The European Union has undertaken a commitment to contribute to the development of regions that are most in need through joint work with the Armenian government. We note with satisfaction that the European Union, the EU member states Austria, France, Germany, Poland and Sweden, as well as Switzerland and the European Investment Bank have united their efforts for a transformative impact in Syunik," Ambassador Wiktorin emphasized in her speech.
