At Mirzoyan-Lavrov-Bayramov meeting, Russian side emphasized need to unblock Lachin Corridor
The Russian side emphasized the need to quickly unblock the Lachin Corridor and restore the normal life of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh. The heads of foreign offices reaffirmed the importance of intensifying the work in all directions of the trilateral declarations, including the unblocking of transport links, the demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the contacts between public activists and experts and the start of parliamentary dialogue.
Special attention was paid to the topic of agreeing a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, with an emphasis on overcoming the differences that still exist.
During the Lavrov-Bayramov meeting, the main issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed, the ministers expressed their support for the restoration of cooperation within the framework of the regional consultative "3+3" platform.
At the meeting with Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, the most current topics of the Armenian-Russian agenda were analyzed, including economic and humanitarian directions. An agreement was reached to continue the effective cooperation within the framework of the common integration unions: EAEU, CSTO and CIS.
