Massive destruction in Gaza as Israeli strikes continue

More than 2,500 people had been killed in the latest round of the Palestine-Israel conflict as of Wednesday as the ongoing clashes between the two sides are intensifying, 1lurer reports.


According to Israeli media reports on Wednesday, more than 1,200 people had been killed and 2,700 others injured on the Israel side since the new round of Palestine-Israel conflict broke out on Saturday. 
 
Meanwhile, more than 1,300 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank had been killed and 5,489 others injured. Among them, 1,100 people were killed and about 5,339 others injured in the Gaza Strip, according to the latest figures released by the Palestinian Health Ministry. 
 
Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, launched a massive surprise attack on Israel on Saturday. In response, the Israeli military conducted air strikes targeting Hamas sites and headquarters in the coastal enclave. The new round of conflict has led massive casualties on both sides. 
 
Also for retaliation, Israel's Energy Minister Israel Katz ordered the Israeli national water company Mekorot to immediately cut off the water supply to Gaza on Sunday, and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday ordered the "complete siege" of the Gaza Strip, triggering severe humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
