Parliament war commission subpoenas Nagorno-Karabakh’s Samvel Shahramanyan
The parliament select committee probing the 2020 Second Nagorno Karabakh War has summoned Samvel Shahramanyan, the politician who held the position of Nagorno-Karabakh President at the time of the Azeri takeover and moved to Armenia along with over 100,000 forcibly displaced persons, ARMENPRESS reports.
The subpoena was sent to the exiled leader of NK on November 13.
“We’ve sent the letter to the Artsakh Representation headquarters and we are expecting him to make an appearance in the committee,” Chairman of the Committee, MP Andranik Kocharyan told RFE/RL’s Armenian service.
