What changes will there be from January 1 in order of making note about validity in foreign countries in passport of Armenia's citizen
According to the Government Decree of the Republic of Armenia № 1604-N of September 22, 2023, the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia from 1st January 2024 will start issuing ordinary (non-biometric) passports without an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries, 1լւռեռ ռեպօռտս․
Until 1st January, 2024 ordinary (non-biometric) passports issued to nationals of Armenia must contain an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries.
After 1st January 2024, ordinary (non-biometric) passports will be considered valid in foreign countries during the validity period, regardless of the presence of an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries on page 4 of the passport.
